What is Hypnosis/ Hypnotherapy?

During hypnotherapy, a form of psychotherapy is utilized while the client is in a trance state (where the brain switches to alpha brain wave levels), and the conscious analytical side (left hemisphere of the brain) is quieted through a deep progressive relaxation, and a heightened state of awareness and focused attention to the subconscious is created.

All of our memories, triggers, and associations are stored within the subconscious, like a computer. Accessing this “data base” to the location that each issue is stemming from is effectively going straight to the source, as opposed to dealing with the symptoms in a talk therapy form of therapy with only the conscious part of the brain. 

Hypnosis is one of the safest, most natural methods of healing that has been used for literally thousands of years from clinicians as well known as Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis.
